resolution and image size

description

Good job with the multiple monitor support. Thank you!

Just two things more i would suggest. At first there seems top be a loss of sharpness in nearly all my photos. Maybe i could be possible to inrease the displayed resolution. If i compare the output with the Google Sreensaver (Picasa) there is a noticable difference in sharpness.
The second suggestion is to allow a increase or decrease of displayed image size.

Hey, but all this is no critic! You have done a great job. Thanks!

About a month ago, a family member donated a monitor and made the multiple monitor support possible. I had no way to test until then. I'll pass along your thanks. :)

I'll also look into allowing users to configure photo size. This isn't the first time it's been suggested and I think it'll be a good addition.

Did you experience the loose of sharpness too?

On my larger resolution photos, I do see it now that I'm looking for it. I'll look into using another way to scale the images.

Also, I already have the plumbing built for custom photo sizes and apparently never added the UI. You can edit the configuration file directly to affect the size. Edit the MaximumSize attribute in the .config file located:

C:\Users{USERNAME}\AppData\Local\DigitalLagniappe\Screensavers\PhotoCollage

I'll work on getting the UI pieces in place for the next release. Any preference on UI? (textbox, slider, etc.)

I would suggest a textbox with min. an max. photo size and a random size shuffle. if min and max are the same the size is fixed.

i recognized the loose of sharpness because i run a plasma tv as second monitor...
